Trading the Fort Collins Commute for a Greeley Dream

Sam at the Boomer Studio
For the past four and a half years, from November 2020 until just recently, Boomer Music in Fort Collins has been my second studio. It’s been a rewarding chapter, a place where I’ve had the privilege of teaching and connecting with so many wonderful students. But after several years of making the drive to Fort Collins, the time has come to say good-bye to Boomer Music. I’m thrilled to announce that I’m consolidating my efforts and focusing entirely on my own business. I will now be teaching from my dedicated studio right here in Greeley, Colorado.
This wasn’t a decision made lightly, but it was one born from a desire for focus, efficiency, and a truly optimized teaching environment. The daily commute, while scenic at times, added hours to my week that I knew could be better spent. Now, instead of the road, my energy will be poured into enhancing the learning experience for my students in a space designed precisely for their needs.
I’m incredibly fortunate that many of my dedicated students are making the shift with me. Some are even opting to make the drive out to Greeley each week, a testament to their commitment and our shared passion for music. For others, the convenience of online lessons will ensure our musical journey continues uninterrupted. This flexibility allows us to maintain the strong connections we’ve built, regardless of geography.
The Greeley Studio: Designed for Success

Greeley Studio
My studio in Greeley was built from the ground up with the student in mind. We’ve got 583 square feet of dedicated space, offering a vastly more expansive and comfortable environment than before. No worrying about volume constraints – here, we can truly unleash our creativity without reservation.
Beyond the ample space, the studio is equipped with resources designed to make teaching and learning more productive than ever. Perhaps one of the most exciting additions is a dedicated stage, perfect for hosting informal jam sessions and allowing students the option to gain valuable performance experience in a supportive setting. Imagine the possibilities for collaboration and growth! Plus, for those longer sessions, beverages are always on hand to keep everyone refreshed and focused.
This move represents a significant step in my professional journey. It’s about creating a centralized, resourceful, and inspiring space where students can thrive and where my passion for teaching can be channeled with even greater effectiveness. It’s an exciting new chapter.
