Karney has taught our son guitar for over 5 years and our experience has been very good. He goes above and beyond supporting our son in talent shows, jam sessions and flexibility with scheduling if needed. We highly recommend Karney as a guitar teacher.

Karney is the best Guitar teacher I’ve had! I come in with just a song I hear that I like and sit down hoping to learn at least a lick of the song. Then karney teaches me Almost the whole thing or enough to play the song and have fun I highly encourage lessons with him if you struggle with anxiety and want someone with a comfort and patient approach!

My daughter has been taking lessons from Karney for a few months now and we were immediately so impressed with his friendliness, knowledge, approachability, and no stress teaching style. My daughter has been taking guitar lessons from Karney for over 3 years now and he has been an invaluable guide on her guitar journey. He has a deep understanding of music theory, technique and tone with an ability to convey that to his students. Karney is, just as importantly, able to translate to your level, from beginning to advanced guitar. He'll teach you what you want to play--no pointless exercises in styles you don't care about. He's patient, he's reliable, he's excited for you to learn, and his prices are very reasonable; what more could you ask for? We feel so lucky to have found Karney! I had been going to lessons with Karney for over 11 years before I left for College. I had such a great experience that I always try to go back for a lesson or two when I am in town. Each lesson was created around the student and focused on improving overall skills while also focusing on the specific interests of the individual.
